Meet Our Team
Ms. Na Sarady
Executive Director
Ms. Sarady Na grew up in Kampong Cham, and now lives here in Phnom Penh. She has been part of our team since 2006, working in multiple roles. But she has been the director since 2018. She has been involved though for longer, starting as a student here. She is so grateful for the opportunities Dove has given her over the years, especially as a woman she has loved interacting with other women in leadership, providing a space and a group for them here. Sarady enjoys facilitating and training young people. Sarady loves that Mission Dove is very diverse in the sense that the students come from a variety of churches and faith backgrounds. You don’t find many ministries like that in Cambodia. When asked about a life passion of hers, her first response was that she is passionate about the core work here at Dove. Helping people grow emotionally and spiritually, they go hand in hand and are very important. For her, it's not just a job she is growing in this maturity too. She also answered, “My life passion is curiosity. I’m curious about what life will bring, to listen and to be listened to, deeply love and love deeply. Simply live and love.” A unique fact: Sarady is a plant mother “Love me, love my plants” A place she wants to travel: Sweden or Norway. Wants to see the northern lights in person.
Mr. Brian Maher
Advisor
Mr. Brian Maher is from Darien Connecticut, but has been living in Cambodia since 1992 when he came to Cambodia as a missionary. He began a youth ministry under the Evangelical Fellowship with Pastor Uon Seila called EFC Key. Key left EFC in 2011 to start DOVE, a local Christian NGO that focuses on improving the mental health of young people, and personal spiritual formation for emerging Christian leaders. He loves to see, hear and make friends with the young people that come to the drop-in center and loves being invloved in growth and recovery groups for them. When asked about a life passion of his he said he, "wants to help young people develop critical thinking, heal from trauma, and emotional pain, fulfill their God-given potential, and become the best version of themselves.” A unique fact: he spent one day in jail in Cambodia A place he would love to travel: Alaska, USA
Mr. Uon Seila
Founder
Mr. Uon Seila is from Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. He is one of the Founders of this organization. Uon Seila, was the Director of EFC’s Youth Commission when he decided to form a separate local Christian NGO in 2011, Dove, alongside Brain Maher. He worked as director until 2018, he resigned and is now known as the founder. He enjoys teaching and educating young people and is passionate about Training and seeing them become Christian agents of change in their communities. Ms. Chhom Sreytouch
Finance Coordinator
Ms. Chhom Srey Touch was born and raised in Cambodia. She has been a part of our team since 2021 serving as the Finance coordinator. She enjoys working here becasue it is a safe community that supports and encourages each other. A goal for her life is to help build safe communities, heal people from painful emotional traumas, and encourage and support them in all they do. A unique fact: she is hardworking and brave. A place she would love to travel: Switzerland
Ms. Choeng Serey
Leadership Program Manager
Ms. Serey Choeng was born and raised in Cambodia. She has been part of our team since 2018 serving as the Leadership Program Manager for Onyx, but has been involved longer. She began in 2006 working with the Alongsiders program which was under Dove at the time. She experienced many life-changing adventures, then in 2016 took off 2 years after her second kid. She then realized how much she missed working here and came back as the manager of Onyx. She mentioned how she loves the team here and interacting with students and hearing stories from them. A life passion of hers is spending time in small strong relational communities. She says, “for my heart, I love to be a mentor to young couples and young adults” A unique fact: She is very patient and holds responsibility well A place she wants to travel: Australia
Ms. Eb Chanreaksmey
YESIC Program Coordinator
Ms. Eb Chanraeksmey is from here in Phnom Penh. She has been working here since 2020 as the program coordinator for YesIC. She enjoys spending time with the youth and being a part of supporting groups in this community. She really is passionate about seeing the students grow, having healthy mental health, learning how to solve problems peacefully, learning how to know themselves and grow into being role models who help contribute to society. A life goal for her is to be a skilled facilitator in many aspects of life. A unique fact: she enjoys serving and has great patience A place she wants to travel: A peaceful and snowy country
Mr. Justin Van Zee
Advisor
Mr. Justin Van Zee grew up in Iowa, USA, but has lived in Cambodia since 2014. He joined our team in 2019, working part-time. Also works at Sombok Psychology. Justin was drawn to Dove when he first heard about the Onyx program, especially the focus on a holistic formation not just head knowledge. He then joined the development of the Onyx 2 program. Currently, he is now serving in leading the Faithwalking program which is a spiritual formation program that is offered to Onyx alumni. Also assists in communication and fundraising needs. Justin enjoys working here because of Dove’s vision—that the people of Cambodia would have emotionally mature and humble leaders who bring healing to the nation. Which he sees as a critical need in Cambodia. He also mentioned the team he gets to work alongside, they are fun, thoughtful, caring individuals who are passionate about bringing positive change here in Cambodia. When asked a life passion he said, “I love to learn and to teach. I think I’m a natural teacher because I love learning and growth process—both for myself and for my students.” A unique fact: Some people say he looks like Ryan Reynolds and strangers sometimes ask to take a photo A place he wants to travel: Kyrgyzstan
Ms. Kin Kimheng
K. Thom Coordinator
Ms. Kin Kimheng is from Kompong Thom Province, Cambodia. She joined the team in 2023 as the Kompong Thom Program coordinator. She has been connected for longer though, serving as a volunteer for 7 years in many roles, one being with women’s ministry and participating as a student in the Onyx program. She enjoys working here because of the opportunity for small groups and adventure. When asked about a life passion she answered that she wants to be a good key example to show and help younger generations know how to be good leaders. Ms. Lynn Ogata
Advisor
Ms. Lynn Ogata is from the United States. She has been part of Dove since it was birthed in 2011 serving as Advisor. As an advisor, she helps with spiritual formation and inner healing. She helps in revising the Onyx curriculum, works with Onyx students and alumni, and is involved with staff programs as well. Some other work along the same line is Spiritual direction in Asian leaders from other countries. She came in 2003 with a short-term team and was impacted by the stories of Cambodian Christians. She served as an intern with EFC, for 2 years before moving into the position she is in now. When asked about her life passion she said, “To continue to grow deeper in my relationship with Jesus and to create spaces where others can do the same. Also instead of feeling burnt out at 30 years old, I want to see Cambodian young people have a sustainable ministry and life balance.” A unique fact: She is in immunologist, and was involved in bio-pharmaceutical before feeling called to Cambodia. A place she would love to travel: More of South East and South Asia, also Italy in a heartbeat
Ms. Pha Raksa
Receptionist /Administration
Ms. Pha Raksa is from Kandal Province, Cambodia. She joined our team in 2023. Raksa works as the receptionist but also is very involved with the students here, playing games and hanging out. She enjoys working here because it feels like a second home for her. She has basically grown up here. Then she eventually moved to a staff position. A life goal of hers is to stay and be healthy physically and mentally. Unique fact: She can go three days without sleep A place she wants to travel: Anywhere she can climb a mountain
Ms. Sous Sievhuy
Executive Assistant
Ms. Sievhuy was born and raised in Cambodia. She has been part of our team since 2019. She was introduced to DOVE by a friend who was enrolled in the Onyx program. She then applied to join the staff in 2019 and joined the Onyx program in 2020. When asked what she loves about working here she said she loves, “working and spending time with staff and students. All the activities are welcoming and supportive of everyone without thinking where they are from and who they are.” A life passion for her is continuing to be someone who serves the Lord and works with young adults. A unique fact: She enjoys doing challenges that scare her. A place she would love to travel: anywhere with a beach and a sunset or Japan.
Mr. Un Makra
Liaison
Mr. Un Makara has been born and raised in Cambodia. He has been working as the liaison for Dove, since 2019. Prior to this he was working with Dove in other areas and resigned to follow his call from God to work for the Tenth Avenue Alliance Church in Vancouver, Canada. ( a donor for Dove). He enjoys the freedom and friendships here that come with working a Dove. When asked a life passion he answered, “To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly.” A unique fact: He loves to ride motorbike and to go camping A place he wants to travel: Into any Jungle or Island
